On Campus Recruiting
For many Accounting students, the Public Accounting industry offers an attractive and exciting career opportunity. We could not agree more! Where else can one quickly develop skills that will last a lifetime? Where else can one directly engage a dynamic client base and stakeholders from a multitude of commercial businesses and not-for-profit organizations?
Positions for college students are available in our Assurance & Audit (A&A) and Tax Advisory Services (Tax) groups. However, CSH also offers Staff Accountants and Interns the opportunity to work in a more ‘generalist’ type position where they will learn and apply both A&A and Tax accounting skills. By allowing individuals to learn both of the key public accounting skills early on, we feel they will be more able to identify their long term career path.

COLLEGE and ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING
CSH actively recruits on college campuses every year and typically hires dozens of students each year. Our on-campus recruiting efforts are focused primarily on Accounting majors at 8 of this regions premier universities (we will consider students from other schools). To see if we will be at your school please contact your Career Services Office.
HOW TO APPLY
To be considered for a Staff Accountant or Internship position, we recommend that you apply through your schools online/e-recruiting system. If we are not formally recruiting at your school, you are welcome to submit your resume anytime to CampusRecruiting@cshco.com .
WHEN TO APPLY
FALL RECRUITING - The majority of our on-campus recruiting takes place in September and October of each year. In September we attend a variety of career fairs, ‘meet the firms’ and other networking events. We may also make class room presentations and present to Beta Alpha Psi or other accounting related student organizations. In October we interview on campus and extend job offers to students for both entry level and internship positions. Job offers are normally extended before the end of October.
Students aspiring to a career in public accounting should be actively interviewing on campus in the fall of each year. Being so, it is recommended that you submit your resume to us for consideration before October 1st of each year. See “HOW TO APPLY” above.
SPRING RECRUITING - To a lesser extent we may interview on campus in the spring, but that is not common. Our presence on campus in the spring is mostly focused on networking events and classroom and Beta Alpha Psi presentations.
