SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Employee Benefit Plan and ERISA Audit / Cincinnati

 Our Employee Benefits Plan Group is a large, specialty service group of Clark Schaefer Hackett and continues to be one of the fastest growing parts of our firm. Providing this service for our local and regionally based clientele, the depth of our expertise and focus is unavailable elsewhere in this region. We currently audit over 250 plans with the number of plan participants ranging from fewer than 100 to over 200,000. We meet the highest bar for professional standards set by the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and the PCAOB. In addition, our benefit plan administration expertise gives our clients access to a unique resource not offered by most public accounting firms.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or qualified to sit for the CPA exam
• 3+ years of professional, full time accounting experience
• 3+ years of external or internal auditing experience
• 3+ years of experience auditing SEC regulated entities, preferred
• 3+ years of experience auditing defined contribution, defined benefit and health & welfare plans, preferred
• Previous experience in public accounting or professional services industry
• Experience working with clients from a variety of industries preferred
• Experience with other accounting disciplines including tax preparation and compliance preferred 
• A strong desire for continuous learning and career advancement
• Ability to drive/travel to locally based client sites as needed
