EmploymentPublic Accounting Internship ProgramMany undergraduate accounting majors are not sure which area of accounting they would like to work in after graduation; Tax or Audit? Public Accounting or in industry? Without some type of real-world experience it is often difficult to determine where to start a career. At Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co., our Internship Program provides students with a priceless opportunity to experience working in the most dynamic segment of the accounting industry; the public accounting firm. All interns in this program will have the opportunity to learn a variety of accounting skills, including both Tax and Audit. In the end, our interns will have experienced our industry while also acquiring valuable skills that will last a lifetime. TrainingInterns at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. will be provided with various types of formal and informal training during their internship. They will initially be trained on our Tax and Audit client-engagement methodologies, before they are begin any work on real client projects. They will also be trained on the industries leading IT systems, including tax return software, audit software and time and billing applications.
