As the Manager of Leaning and Development, Alison Ruhenkamp manages all aspects of the employee learning and development from onboarding to performance management and professional development. She directs the firm’s on-boarding activities and the Buddy Program to help new hires become integrated and engaged with the firm from day one.
Assisting employees with their career growth, Alison also developed and leads the firm Coaching Program to help employees get real-time feedback and guidance through their career. In addition, Alison was instrumental in creating the competency and career progression “Line of Sight” models for the firm. She works with employees develop their personal and organizational skills by assisting in the development of talent management processes such as organizational design, performance management, career development, training and development, mentoring, coaching, and succession planning. Alison has been an invited speaker on a variety of HR and professional development topics for the MICPA, OSCPA and AGN MAP and NARM Conferences.
Through Clark Schaefer Hackett’s partnership with AGN, Alison also works closely with the AGN team to design and deliver curriculum for the AGN Advance training program. She has helped to create courses that will not only enhance the technical skillset and increase client service, but develop and retain the next generation of leaders at AGN member firms.
Alison also led a rebranding initiative to help strategically enhance Clark Schaefer Hackett’s presence on campus. Through the “Get There” concept and the CSH MAX initiatives, Clark Schaefer Hackett has become an employer of choice for students and young professionals looking to grow a career in public accounting.
