We are excited to announce that CSH is expanding our presence in northern Ohio with the acquisition of Toledo-based LublinSussman Group, effective July 1, 2017. We welcome our new colleagues, and look forward to serving more clients in the Toledo area.

“Combining our offices in Toledo increases our capacity to deliver excellent service to clients – both existing and new,” said CSH President Kerry Roe.

Clark Schaefer Hackett has had a location in the Toledo market for more than five years after acquiring the Brell Holt & Co. firm in January 2012. LublinSussman was founded in Toledo in 1971.

Lee Wunschel, Thomas Jaffee and Eric Golus of LublinSussman (pictured respectively below) will join CSH as shareholders, and Clark Schaefer Hackett’s Toledo staff will soon relocate to LSG’s office at N. Republic Blvd. Lee Wunschel will be the shareholder-in-charge of the combined Toledo office consisting of 21 professionals, including the 3 shareholders.

“This merger will enable us to offer many new services and areas of expertise,” said Wunschel. “We are excited to join Clark Schaefer Hackett, continuing the tradition of excellence that our clients and associates have come to expect.”

Clark Schaefer Hackett has demonstrated healthy firmwide growth in recent years. In 2014, the firm acquired J.D. Cloud, then the oldest independent CPA firm in Cincinnati; acquired Schoonover Boyer & Associates in Columbus; and opened an office in Northern Kentucky.
