Peter Olmsted is Clark Schaefer Hackett’s Director of Executive Talent Solutions. Peter partners with clients to develop HR strategies and solutions that enable organizations to fuel their growth by developing optimized in-house talent.

Peter’s cumulative experience enables him to provide keen insights in the service of client needs. He spent 25 years working in HR leadership positions at both public and private companies. Peter was the Senior VP of HR for a $6 billion global manufacturing company. He later built a successful Executive Search and HR Consulting Services business. Although Peter’s talent strategies are wide ranging, he provides customized solutions for each client. When launching a new client engagement, Peter focuses on gaining a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business. He prides himself on learning the critical success factors, culture, organizational structure, and key leadership strengths and weaknesses of each client. This upfront work enables Peter to offer optimal strategies and solutions for his clients. Peter’s focus is in the areas of Leadership Development, Executive Search, HR Strategy and Culture Transformation.

• Peter currently serves as a board member for the Ohio Justice and Policy Center Board, a group dedicated to making our criminal justice system fair for all. • Peter helped initiate and develop “Career Bridge” a program for underserved and disadvantaged workers in Greater Cincinnati. Career Bridge is an initiative of Partners for a Competitive Workforce (a United Way Organization). • Peter regularly volunteers his time helping displaced managers and executives find new employment. • Peter was formerly on the advisory committee for the Boy Scout’s Learning for Life initiative and he was also a board member for Junior Achievement.
