Robert Parton is a plan administrator in the firm’s Qualified Plan Administration and Consulting Group. Bob works with clients from all industries on the administration of their tax qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. Bob also specializes in the implementation and administration of non-qualified arrangements, including but not limited to deferred compensation plans, employer contributory top-hat plans, and supplemental executive retirement plans. In addition to administration, Bob also prepares the firm’s most complicated Form 5500s, ensuring that retirement plans and welfare benefit plans are correctly reporting their financial activity to the Department of Labor and IRS. Bob has experience with voluntary correction programs through the Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service. After the passing of the Affordable Care Act, Bob became a lead of the newly formed service line and has given presentations concerning reporting and compliance.
