Kevin Davis is past chair of the Firm’s Assurance Services Committee, which is responsible for guiding the quality of our firm-wide accounting and auditing practice. He has provided services to many types and sizes of NFPs for over 25 years, including charitable and educational organizations, business leagues, social and recreational clubs, and voluntary employees’ beneficiary associations. Kevin is recognized as a Firm resource for compliance audits performed in accordance with OMB Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Not-for-Profit Organizations. Kevin is a regular presenter on not-for-profit accounting and auditing issues for the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and firm-wide continuing education programs.
As chair of the Assurance Services Committee, Kevin was responsible for the Firm’s quality control function, including guiding firm-wide implementation of all new accounting and audit standards, leading the annual internal quality inspections and coordinating our external peer review conducted by an outside CPA firm. In addition, Kevin provides technical expertise on all of the Accounting and Auditing engagements in the Miami Valley office. Kevin also has ten years of previous audit experience with a national accounting firm and six years of controllership experience in private industry.
