As a Benefit Plan Manager, Kristen is responsible for managing employee benefit plan assurance engagements and overseeing the related tax preparation services. She specializes in serving clients in the employee benefit plan services group including privately owned companies, publicly held companies, and not-for-profit organizations. She is a member of CSH’s Columbus Marketing and Development Committee, as well as the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Committee and Employee Benefit Plan Marketing Committee. Because professional growth is important to Kristen, she leads multiple efforts for staff training and development at CSH.
Kristen’s specialities include strategically managing the day-to-day responsibilities of employee benefit plan engagements and providing efficient completion of those audits and tax returns. She is experienced in auditing defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, health and welfare plans, and both qualified and non-qualified plans. She also has experience in assisting clients with navigating correction filings for compliance failures. Kristen stays on top of industry trends and best practices by regularly attending employee benefit plan trainings and conferences, and local events.
