As a Controller in the Managed Services department, Lisa is responsible for managing clients’ ongoing financial reporting operations. This includes reviewing periodic financial reports; preparing budget, KPI and other management reports; and managing a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the client’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Lisa also serves on the Staff Development Committee for the firm’s Managed Services department.
Lisa works primarily with not-for-profit clients, especially affordable housing and domestic violence shelters; she has been in that industry since 2009. Her specialties are creating program and organizational budgets, grant management, fund accounting, preparing and analyzing financials.
Clients appreciate how easy Lisa is to work with, how she makes herself an integral part of their team, including being available to them year round. Client relationships are a priority and for Lisa, and one of her strengths.
