In his role as Chief Information Officer, Randy Smith creates and leads the IT strategy for Clark Schaefer Hackett. With a strong focus on internal and external client service, he is responsible for developing and managing the technology structure and delivery within the firm. Randy provides leadership for the implementation of technology solutions that solve complex business problems as well as IT services that protect clients’ confidential data. He directs firmwide IT for almost 450 employees across eight office locations, ensuring stable and reliable technology and support services.
Randy has nearly 20 years of experience in technology. Prior to joining CSH, he served as the IT Manager at 84.51° (a Kroger subsidiary, formerly Dunnhumby) where he oversaw the architecture, engineering and operational health of IT infrastructure related to Microsoft Windows server and server virtualization technologies. Previous to that role, Randy was Director of IT Infrastructure for Fechheimer Brothers Company, managing a comprehensive range of IT and infrastructure management services. Randy also served 5 years’ active duty as an Army Medical Laboratory Specialist (91K).
