Sharon Chou is a member of CSH’s Data Analytics practice, which advises clients on growing their businesses and profits with data and advanced analytics. The practice focuses on creating solutions for clients that increase operational efficiency, promote data transparency, and develop insights into clients’ future business results.

In her role as Senior Manager, Data Science, Sharon devises data analytic strategies and methods to enhance clients’ business outcomes through better understanding of their data streams and unlocking their predictive potential. Further, Sharon’s work involves identifying and interpreting trends in data through visualization, improving data consistency, automating manual processes and uncovering predictive data patterns and turning them into actionable insights to gain a competitive edge for clients.

Prior to joining CSH, Sharon was the Principal Data Scientist at Amira Learning, a Series-A funded startup, where she designed and implemented technologies that improved children’s reading skills. Her previous work also leveraged predictive analytics to optimize user experience in tech support, as well as forecast energy use, customer propensities and recommend energy cost-saving measures.

Sharon has composed algorithms that increased production throughput by up to 1000x for various device manufacturers. Her peer-reviewed research publications span topics such as nanoscale circuit design, statistical methods and quantum physics of materials engineering.
