SPRINGFIELD, OH – Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. is pleased to announce that Darrin Spitzer has been selected for the Ohio Society of CPA’s Health Care Continuing Professional Education Committee. Darrin will serve on the committee that organizes the annual health care continuing education conference.
“The Ohio Society has done a superior job of providing relevant and knowledgeable speakers for this educational event. I hope to support the efforts of the OSCPA and bring topics of current interest to its members through this continuing professional education conference,” explained Spitzer.
Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. encourages their CPA’s to be active in organizations outside of the firm to stay current and knowledgeable in the accounting and business realm. Aside from the OSCPA; Darrin is a member of Kiwanis International and is the treasurer for the Springfield Family YMCA. Darrin also donates his time to local high schools educating students on career opportunities associated with accounting, and motivating students to become leaders and continue their education.
“With my experience, I hope to address the issues that affect physician practices and to create an educational forum that attends to the concerns of practice managers, as well as, other CPA’s,” said Spitzer.
Darrin Spitzer, CPA, is a Shareholder in the Springfield office of Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. He joined the firm in 1991 after working at a Big 4 accounting firm. A graduate of Marietta College, Darrin holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Capital University Law School.
