Clark Schaefer Hackett is pleased to announce that James Haubrock has been reappointed to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Audit Quality Center Executive Committee. He will serve on the exclusive 12-member committee which establishes best practices for performing high-quality employee benefit plan audits, and also offers related education and training. Haubrock will be featured regularly in industry webinars, and included among the group of top-notch speakers at the AICPA’s annual conference.
Haubrock is the chair of Clark Schaefer Hackett’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Services Group and has been serving employee benefit plan clients for over three decades. Under Haubrock’s leadership of the group, CSH has become one of the top 30 firms in the nation to audit employee benefit plans. Haubrock also educates professionals in the industry as a frequent speaker for the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and AICPA, providing expert insight on topics such as limited scope audit requirements, the revised 403(b) plan audit requirements, 11-K audit issues, and employee benefit plan audit efficiencies.
Haubrock has also dedicated time to his profession by serving as the past Chair of the Board for the OSCPA, past member of the Governing Council for the AICPA, as well as serving as a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He is also involved in numerous community organizations, including serving as the Treasurer and Past President for A Special Wish Foundation, Treasurer for Yankee Trace Homeowners Association and a member of the Rotary Club of Dayton.
