SPRINGFIELD – Larry Weeks has been named a Shareholder in the Springfield Office of Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. A 1990 graduate from Wright State University, Larry received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.
He has extensive experience in various accounting and auditing services related to governmental and not-for-profit entities. Nine years of experience with the State Auditor’s Office, prior to joining Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co., provided an opportunity to audit all types of local governments; including counties, cities and schools. For two plus years, Larry participated in providing performance auditing services to various governments.
In addition, he provided specialized accounting services, such as the preparation of annual financial forecasts and helping establish internal controls at different entities.
As part of the firm’s Government/Nonprofit Specialty Group, Larry will be working extensively with local governments and not-for-profit entities. He is a member of the American and Ohio Society of CPA’s, the Government Finance Officer’s Association (GFOA) and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
