We are pleased to share that J.D. Cloud, the oldest independent certified public accounting firm in Greater Cincinnati, is joining CSH. Effective July 1, this union will grow our Cincinnati presence to approximately 150 associates, and our total firmwide staffing over 400. We are proud to strengthen our position as the largest regional accounting firm in Cincinnati and one of the top 60 firms in the nation.
This is a pairing of the largest and oldest independent firms in the greater Cicninnati area. Well known and highly regarded for their long-standing commitment to integrity and client service, J.D. Cloud was founded in 1913. They celebrated their 100th year anniversary in 2013 as CSH marked its 75th. Managing Partner John Lind has led the firm since 2012.
We’ve found wonderful synergies with this storied organization, including an extreme passion for client service and a commitment to developing our professionals.

In mid-July the J.D. Cloud associates will move approximately one block, from their current downtown office into the CSH office located at One East Fourth Street. Cincinnati Shareholder-in-Charge John Moster will continue to lead CSH in this market, managing growth here as he has since 2008. Earlier this year CSH opened its Northern Kentucky office to meet the needs of this active region. We continue to anticipate strong growth potential in the area and firmwide.

Clark Schaefer Hackett has been expanding organically and through acquisition for decades, opening offices in three new markets over the last five years. In April of 2014 Columbus area CPA firm Schoonover Boyer + Associates also joined the firm. We now serve clients throughout the country from positions of strength in seven cities: Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Cleveland, Springfield, OH and Ft. Mitchell, KY.
