COLUMBUS – Clark Schaefer Hackett is happy to welcome Jim Sharvin, CPA, to the firm’s Columbus office.
In his position as a Principal with the Tax practice at Clark Schaefer Hackett (CSH), Sharvin works with small- and mid-market businesses, as well as high-net-worth individuals, to provide tax planning and compliance services. Particular areas of focus include asset management, estate planning, real estate syndications, financial planning, and the complexities of the professional athlete.

Sharvin started his accounting career with Ernst & Young in Columbus, and most recently was practicing in Southern California. He has worked in public accounting for more than 30 years, and brings experience in a number of industries, including: healthcare, not-for-profit, real estate and personal wealth planning.
Sharvin has an MBA in Taxation and Tax Planning from Indiana University Kelly School of Business and a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Purdue University. He is Co-Chairman of the CCH ProSystem fx Advisory Board, is an American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Ambassador and certified media spokesperson for the AICPA, serves on the board of the Purdue Alumni Club of Central Ohio, and is a member of the AICPA and the California (CalCPA) & Ohio (OSCPA) Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
