Clark Schaefer Hackett (CSH), a top 100 accounting and advisory firm, has welcomed Zach Gubser back to the firm as Shareholder, effective October 2022. Gubser previously worked for CSH as a Tax Manager and he is excited to be a part of the firm’s growth plans.

Gubser said, “We’ve expanded to tap the worldwide talent pool and bring additional value to our clients, while allowing our professionals across the firm, here and abroad, capacity to focus on expanding their skillsets in areas they’d like to grow. The potential for future growth—personally and for the firm—and knowing I have control over that growth is what excites me about the future.”

Prior to rejoining CSH in 2022, Gubser was VP of Finance and Strategy for a leading provider of laser vision correction services. A licensed attorney in Ohio, Gubser also practiced at a Cincinnati law firm. He also has a BS and BBA from University of Kentucky and is a CPA in Ohio.

Brendan Walsh, Head of Tax at CSH, said, “We’re tremendously excited to have Zach back at CSH. Zach has a proven track record of exceptional client service along with an in-depth knowledge of tax laws and strategies. These skills provide a great addition to CSH as we look to continue the exceptional growth we’ve seen over the past several years.”

Continued Gubser, “I love helping clients solve business problems. We have a broad base of professionals, with decades of experience to leverage. My own experience has had a heavy M&A focus; I leverage that to advise clients and professionals through the entire tax lifecycle of their businesses.”
