Devesh Kamal is the Shareholder-In-Charge of Clark Schaefer Hackett’s Springfield Office. He concentrates his practice on the business needs of those who develop, finance or otherwise support the affordable housing sector. He provides full service accounting, auditing and tax advisement to partnerships and not-for-profit organizations that develop projects funded with tax credits from the departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Rural Development (RD). Devesh works with the syndicators and investors who fund these projects, public housing agencies (PHA) and state finance agencies.
He also provides general accounting, auditing and tax services to a number of a diverse group of clients, including behavioral healthcare organizations, community health centers, automobile dealerships, and governmental entities.
