As a Virtual CFO for the Managed Services team at CSH, Michelle provides CFO services to clients. This includes assisting in the management of day to day operations, analyzing records to assist with balancing books and resolving issues within the finance department, including out of balance situations and payroll/benefit corrections, and working with clients to analyze software needs and assist in the implementation training current employees.
Michelle specializes in serving clients in the government industry. Previously, she was an auditor for the State of Ohio and CSH. She then transitioned into the Finance Director position for the cities of Middletown, Montgomery, and Liberty Township for the next 11 years of her career. In those roles, she managed the entire accounting function at the local government. This included overseeing local income tax collection, utility billing, purchasing, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting, state and federal grants, financial statement preparation and audit. In addition, she was a member of the management team, involved in strategic planning, economic development project feasibility, and working with State and Federal Agencies to champion projects and secure grant funding.
With Michelle’s extensive CFO experience in three signifcantly different socio-economic situations, she can successfully assist clients in day to day operations, financial projections and budgeting, project feasibility analysis, and strategic financial planning.
