The combination of these locations into a Miami Valley office is a strategic investment that will position the firm for growth.  This move will be made to enhance client services through location, collaboration, and improved technology.  It is also an investment in the firm’s most valuable asset, its professionals.

“The office building that RG Properties has planned will be beautiful, and we are looking forward to the new space,” said Herb Lemaster, named as Shareholder-In-Charge of the Miami Valley office.  “Clark Schaefer Hackett has extremely high standards for its employees in terms of abilities and performance.  Having a state-of-the-art office in an appealing location is one more way that we can attract and retain the best professional advisors in town.”

The Miami Valley office will be a firmwide center of expertise, housing the Chairs of the Manufacturing and Distribution, Professional Services, International Services, Employee Benefit Plan Audit, and Qualified Plan Administration and Consulting Groups.  It will also be a collaborative environment for associates with specialties in Estate, Trust, and Succession Planning, Not-For-Profit Organizations, and Small Business Solutions, among others.

“Enhanced client service has been a compelling motivator for this office merge,” said John Venturella, Shareholder-In-Charge of the CSH Middletown office.  “Combining talents under one roof will offer our clients greater efficiency and more specialized service.”

“We’re extremely excited Clark Schaefer Hackett has decided to stay in the area and has chosen Austin Landing for their new Miami Valley headquarters as they consolidate both the offices,” said Jason Woodard, vice president of development for RG Properties.

Clark Schaefer Hackett, a regional public accounting firm currently located in six cities across the state of Ohio, has been nationally recognized for its firm management.  In 2010, the firm was named INSIDE Public Accounting’s Best of the Best, a distinction given for wise management and superior operational performance to only 25 firms in the nation.  CSH was the only local firm to earn the title.

Carl Coburn, Clark Schaefer Hackett President, said long-term strategic planning has allowed them to effectively weather the economic downturn, and the firm is now strongly positioned for growth, as is evidenced by its investment in the new Miami Valley Office.

“The firm has a seventy-year history of managing its resources well, and is continuing to make strategic investments in its future,” said Coburn.
