(Springfield)—Clark Schaefer Hackett is pleased to announce that Kent Pummel, a principal accountant in the Springfield Office, has recently been elected to the Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) Executive Board.
“Being elected to the Ohio Society’s Executive Board is very humbling. This opportunity will help broaden my understanding of the profession and enables me to take a proactive focus on the current issues facing the profession,” Pummel stated.
Clark Schaefer Hackett encourages their CPAs to be active in organizations outside of the Firm to stay current and knowledgeable in the accounting and business realm. Aside from the OSCPA; Mr. Pummel is treasurer of the Springfield Family YMCA, and remains very active in Springfield and Dayton area community events. Within Clark Schaefer Hackett, Mr. Pummel’s current responsibilities include providing audit, reviews and compilation services to closely-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst, obtaining accreditation in 2001.

Mr. Pummel earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from Wittenberg University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio.
