Since 2005 Jesse Young has provided audit and financial consulting services for a variety of affordable housing and not-for-profit organizations, and specializes in assisting federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), community action agencies, affordable housing developers and managers, and organizations needing a Single Audit.
Jesse has extensive affordable housing experience with HUD, Rural Development and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. He oversees the planning and performance of affordable housing audits and assists in the electronic submissions of HUD financial statements to the Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC).
Jesse helps his clients by performing Single Audits and audits subject to HUD requirements, risk assessments and process improvement engagements; assessing internal controls over financial reporting, fraud, grant management, and federal compliance; and providing guidance and compliance audits over the 340B pharmacy program. Jesse shares his knowledge in these areas by presenting on topics such as upcoming changes to the not-for-profit clarity standards, and writing articles covering Uniform Guidance issues.
