In 2018, CSH Shareholder Carl Coburn starts his fifth and final year on the AGN-North America Executive Committee. He has served as the committee’s secretary, treasurer, vice chair and chair, and now moves into the role of Immediate Past Chair. “During my tenure, AGN hired 2 dynamic leaders,” said Coburn. “One leader heads AGN International and one is the leader of AGN-North America. We also have developed excellent programming and member services, and the Association has grown in terms of numbers and quality of members.”
AGN International is a worldwide association of more than 180 CPA firms, which provides leadership training, national and international client service opportunities, and management training. The North American region of AGN includes firms in 38 U.S. states, Canada and Mexico.
Participation in AGN offers CSH an advantage in the marketplace, allowing the firm to offer worldwide accounting expertise to a rapidly globalizing business community. It strengthens the firm’s ability to serve any company in any location, nationally or internationally. Clark Schaefer Hackett is a founding member of AGN, and as an elected officer, Carl Coburn has had a direct role in the leadership and direction of this organization.
